We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Cork. As a key member of the Regional Operations team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyzing and optimizing the Supply Chain
* Material planning and procurement
* Purchasing and follow-up on materials, subcontractors, and services
* General administration of purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, etc.
* Liaising with suppliers and visiting their facilities as necessary
* Collaborating with internal and external parties to achieve goals
* Optimizing inventory levels
* Processing complaints and resolving issues
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing, preferably in an Engineering company
* A recognized qualification in a related field
* Experience in Engineering/manufacturing environments is highly desirable
* Strong negotiation, IT, analytics, and organizational skills
* Advanced Excel skills with formulas and financial spreadsheets
* Experience with material planning and contract management using an ERP system
