nThe
R&D PhD Chemis
t will bring expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and will support all aspects of new and existing chemical process development, including technology transfer, scale-up, process safety, monitoring, and troubleshooting for small molecules
.This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, SHE) and external stakeholders to ensure robust, efficient, and well-controlled processes for existing products and new product introductions

Key Responsibiliti**
* esLead laboratory development projects, including route scouting/development, proof of concept, crystallisation optimisation, and process safety assessment
* s.Provide technical support for the manufacture of APIs and intermediates, with a focus on optimisation and troubleshootin
* g.Identify and deliver process optimisation projects considering scale-up, manufacturing requirements, and Critical to Quality Attributes (CTQs
* ).Utilise data monitoring and PAT tools (e.g., FBRM, Raman, IR) and introduce new technologies aligned with business need
* s.Partner with R&D analytical chemists and Operations engineers on NPI and scale-up activities, including customer engagement, troubleshooting, documentation, and campaign readines
* s.Support chemistry assessments for new product
* s.Lead optimisation initiatives to improve throughput and yield in collaboration with Operations engineer
* s.Support continuous process verification by collecting/trending data for commercial products, identifying OOT and Statistical Alert Events (SAE), and leading investigations with engineering and analytical suppor
* t.Participate in manufacturing campaign performance team
* s.Lead and support quality and safety investigation
