The Role Proofpoint is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the Procurement Operations team with sourcing and purchasing activities, system enhancement projects and procurement data maintenance and reporting.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong analytical skills, and is eager to develop a career in Procurement.
The Procurement Buyer will work closely with Procurement leadership and Procurements Shared Services team, suppliers, and other key departments to deliver Procurement support across our business.
Your Day To Day Create and maintain purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Support supplier onboarding activities and data entry within the Procurement systems.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including supplier information, order details, and contracts Input and manage procurement data in the company's procurement system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Generate and analyse procurement reports to support procurement leaderships decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Experience with supporting data input and reporting activities in finance/ procurement systems.
