"Project Costing Specialist"
This is a specialized role within the Finance department's Project Control office. The successful candidate will be part of an expanding team responsible for project cost control, from the initial offer stage through to delivery and handover of Liebherr Container Crane products.
The team provides support in preparing project cost estimates for sales tenders, including optional technical features. They also assist with new crane contract pre-cost calculations, financial reviews, and identifying potential root causes of cost overruns. Additionally, they contribute to the continuous development of costing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of engineering disciplines, particularly in cost calculation and budget processes related to electromechanical engineering products. A Diploma or Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline is preferred.
Aptitude for the relationship between engineering design and production costs is essential. You should have experience in generating sales offer cost calculations for major electromechanical engineering products or a background in quantity surveying.
Proficiency in reading technical specifications and interpreting costing requirements is necessary. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure towards deadlines are also required.
