Your Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the modelling, analysis, and pricing of variable annuity reinsurance transactions.
* Conduct detailed risk assessments to support new business development.
* Develop, review, and enhance actuarial models to provide accurate forecasting and analysis.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise the company's portfolio and support decision-making.
* Manage valuation and reserving processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal reporting standards.
* Provide expert advice on risk management, capital optimisation, and profitability of the business portfolio.
* Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging risks, and opportunities within the life reinsurance sector.
Your Required Skills:
* Qualified Actuary
* 2+ years of experience in life insurance or reinsurance, with a focus on Variable Annuities.
* Strong analytical, modelling, and valuation skills.
* Proficiency in actuarial software and advanced Excel skills.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a solutions-focused mindset.
