We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team. The successful applicant will be required to support and assist the Head Chef by overseeing the day to day culinary operations, including training, supervising staff and monitoring food quality. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sous Chef to join a well established hotel.
· The Candidate:
· Should have relevant experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a 3* or 4*hotel or busy restaurant environment.
· Act as a second in command in the kitchen whilst taking over during the Head Chef's absence.
· A Team Player, excellent Staff Developer and an innovative Team leader.
· Should have an understanding & knowledge of compiling wage forecasts, rosters, monthly stock control & budgeting, team training, cost control management, and managing HACCP.
· Should excel and exceed in the delivery of exceptional food whilst maintaining consistency.
· Excellent Communication, Organisational and Leadership Skills.
· Health and Safety Awareness
· Work with the Head Chef to generate ideas in the kitchen to update menus regularly to produce a consistently good product.
· Support kitchen operations and maintain relations with staff.

Pay: €34,000.00 per year
