Job Title – Site Engineer
Project – Commercial Development

Salary – €40K - €50K
About the Company
Working with a leading, Tier 2 Irish Main Contractor who specialise in private and public works contacts valued up to €150M. They have a reputation for delivering high quality projects across Ireland in a range of industry sectors- these upcoming Galway projects are commercial and industrial projects.
The Role
* Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
* Liaise and coordinate sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
* Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager/ Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
* Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
* Supervise works and check the quality of works to ensure they are of a high standard.
Requirements
* A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an engineering role with a main contractor- setting out.
* Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
