Role Description As an Account Executive within the Commercial team, you will be the main point of contact to the customer for accounts in the multiples, convenience and impulse channels. You will be responsible for co-ordinating all promotional activity for each account and handle all account head office and customer queries. You will report directly to the National Account Manager and will have day one accountability. This will become a customer facing role with numerous cross functional elements. Responsibilities: You will provide on-going support for the National Account Manager by maintaining; customer price files, promotional proposals, sales reporting, forecasting etc. Working directly with the National Account Manager you will be optimising promotional effectiveness and implement customer business plans to align with set strategies. You would work cross functionally with the supply chain and NPD teams to ensure forecast objectives and targets are achieved Collation of all Promotional activity and communication to Field Sales Teams Ownership of Weekly Pricing Scorecard, ensuring pricing alignment with all customers Creation of Promotional submissions for Account teams to communicate Management of customer trade shows and trade days, coordinating with Channel Marketing Point of contact for Accounts Receivable on pricing and invoice queries Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Language Requirements To be successful in this role; The candidate will need to have a good knowledge of promotions and how they work They would need to understand the urgency associated with the work New Product Development and Product substitution concepts should be well imbedded in their skill set A good communicator (both written & verbal) that would be comfortable talking to NAMs and their Customers, as well as someone who understands the ramifications of getting it wrong A.Qualifications: a.Bachelors degree in a business or related discipline B.Skills/Competencies: You should: Have excellent numerical and planning skills Be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate Competent at using data and analysis and systems to drive insight into action Strong persuasive, negotiation, and presentation capabilities Highly organised and be able to manage multiple priorities Be pro-efficient in Excel and Power Point C.Previous Experience: a.Graduate Role b.FMCG background advantage c.Full clean driving license What we offer you: Work in a fast-paced environment with iconic Irish brands while experiencing the values of a family run business You will work with passionate people and receive both formal training and day to day mentoring from your manager An entrepreneurial spirit is encouraged and from day 1 we will place our trust in you to be the expert in your business channel and allow you to influence how decisions are made Skills: job desired skills
