About the Role
The Utilities Engineer oversees all operations and maintenance activities in their assigned area, ensuring all resources are available to deliver quality services.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Site Manager, clients, shift teams, and engineering staff
* Serve as the main contact for maintenance-related concerns
* Lead and coordinate a diverse team of skilled technicians
* Ensure the timely completion of preventive maintenance programs
* Support team members in developing expertise with equipment
* Follow safety guidelines and approved procedures
* Maintain accurate documentation and records
* Oversee supplier performance and relationships
* Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
* Manage equipment, parts, and tools inventory
* Prepare regular activity reports
* Plan maintenance schedules around business needs
* Evaluate equipment condition and plan for future needs
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
Required Skills
* 3+ years in regulated industrial settings
* Knowledge of power generation or data center operations
* Understanding of industrial equipment maintenance
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
