Commercial Director Job Description
The Commercial Director will create and implement a strategic plan that focuses on revenue growth through fundraising models, identifying new opportunities, and developing business services to generate substantial income.
* Create comprehensive business strategies for commercial opportunities that yield significant revenue for the organization.
* Develop new business services and events to deliver revenue growth.
* Establish partnerships with sponsors and partners to drive revenue and create added value.
* Identify opportunities to expand operations through strategic partnerships and market expansion.
* Support current fundraising activities.
* Research grants available within the organization and external funding opportunities.
* Collaborate with a third-party agency to develop a fan/media hub as an independent revenue stream.
* Manage relationships (new and existing) as directed by the leadership team.
* Work with relevant committees to monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports.
* Oversee asset development in liaison with relevant committees.
