Accounts Assistant/ Financial Accountant Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant and Financial Accountant to support our Finance team in Mulligar. Your responsibilities will include:
* Working with the Finance Office Manager to ensure timely office management and completion of tasks.
* Managing Accounts Payable / Receivable invoices.
* Paying invoices, verifying goods received etc.
* Reconciling bank accounts.
* Credit Management, reports payments and queries.
* Primary point of contact for AP and AR queries.
* Month end/ year end reporting.
* Costing reporting.
* Updating databases with relevant information.
* Generating internal reports.
* Intrasat, VAT & VIES Revenue reporting.
* Collaborating across teams.
* Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
* Attending finance meetings.
You will need excellent accounting and strong numerical skills, as well as experience with MS Office particularly Word, Excel, and Excel formulas. A thorough working knowledge of Sage 50 is also required. You should be able to build good relationships with customers and have excellent communication skills.
