The Care Coordinator will support the Clinical Nurse Manager's and Supervisors in achieving the goals and objectives of Bluebird Care while maintaining the high standards of service provided to clients in line with company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will assist the Care Manager and Supervisor in maintaining effective communication with the HSE, clients and their families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies involved in the delivery and development of the service. They will also work closely with Healthcare Assistants to support day-to-day operations and address queries as they arise.

Role Purpose
The Care Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for both Healthcare Assistants and clients. The role is responsible for coordinating care services within a designated area, ensuring Healthcare Assistants are supported and clients receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Complete weekly scheduling and allocation of hours for the Healthcare Assistant team using the Time Management System.
Work closely with the Care Management Team to match clients with suitable Healthcare Assistants.
Monitor staff absences and arrange appropriate cover as required.
Respond to queries and concerns from clients and their families regarding care services.
Record and report incidents in line with company policies and procedures.
Carry out additional duties as required to support the effective delivery of services.
Qualifications And Experience
Previous experience within the care sector.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage workload, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Proactive, enthusiastic, and motivated, with excellent communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making skills.
Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland is essential.
