Finance Business Partner Location: Kildare Salary: €59,000 to €69,000 DOE Overview: Orange Recruitment is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner on behalf of our client. This role is a key position within the finance team, responsible for delivering financial insight and analysis, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial performance across the business. The Finance Business Partner will report to the Head of Finance. The role involves close collaboration with business units to ensure finance delivers value and financial assurance in an efficient and effective manner. Role Purpose: The Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial analysis, advice, and support to budget holders. The role supports management teams by evaluating the financial impact of initiatives, identifying efficiencies, and driving performance through financial insight. Strong stakeholder engagement, commercial awareness, and analytical capabilities are essential. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with senior management to support and influence decision-making and business performance. Provide objective challenge to spending plans and identify opportunities for service efficiencies and cost savings. Conduct variance analysis and identify cost drivers across labour, activity, and overheads. Lead the monthly financial planning and reporting cycle including KPIs, P&L, and balance sheet analysis. Ensure timely and accurate allocation of costs; support internal and external audits. Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes, including communication with stakeholders and in-depth commercial analysis. Act as a key contact for audit file preparation, statutory disclosures, governance, and compliance requirements. Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and contribute to finance systems enhancements. Proactively manage relationships across departments and with external stakeholders. Skills and Experience: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA). 3-5 years post-qualification experience, ideally including business partnering responsibilities. Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel; experience with SUN is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise across all levels of the organisation. Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills. A commercial mindset with the ability to interpret and convey complex financial information clearly. Proactive, curious, and confident in constructively challenging the status quo. Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
