We are continuing to expand our operations and are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and ambitious Trainee Accountant to join our ever-expanding team.
Essential Requirements
The ideal candidate will have
a high level of initiative
and possess the following:
* Relevant 3rd level qualification in business/accountancy.
* Minimum 2.1 degree.
* Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
* High level in MS Excel, Word, and Windows.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines/ targets.
* Excellent organisational, analytical, and time management skills.
* Can-do will do attitude.
The Role
The Trainee Accountant will be (but not limited to) involved in the following activities:
* Invoice processing.
* Monthly creditor reconciliations.
* Issuing supplier payments.
* General ledger maintenance.
* Bank Reconciliations.
* Daily, weekly, and monthly financial controls and KPIs.
* Assisting Management Accountant with the preparation of weekly management accounts and monthly financial accounts.
* Assisting the Payroll Process.
* Drafting financial/management reports.
* Implementation of internal control procedures and IT systems controls.
* Ad-hoc/ business improvement projects.Working with the packing team to manage the packing stock control system.
* Production and presentation of various analytical reports
