The company has a strong balance sheet and remains highly acquisitive.The RoleIQVIA is currently looking to appoint a driven and experienced BD professional to work specifically within the domain of Biotech, providing customized Phase I through IV services globally, and offering expertise across multiple therapeutic areas. The individuals will be based anywhere in Europe. This is a critical appointment as part of a company-wide initiative to increase our client portfolio through successful sales and business development, and to develop trusted relationships which will enable IQVIA to sell across the enterprise in the future. The EBP sales specialist will be responsible for selling the entire solution portfolio across Clinical, thereby fulfilling every client need across the product lifecycle. These individuals will engage credibly at C-Suite level with Biotech clients, navigate internally across the account and assemble the optimal IQVIA expert teams as required. They will gather internal, external, and competitive intelligence on their clients, develop a robust account strategy and drive execution to identify, drive and expand the business across the entire IQVIA clinical solution portfolio. The role requires the ability to close bigger value deals and to leverage organizational capabilities to upsell and drive an integrated sales approach that shifts the market in IQVIA’s favor.The PersonIn terms of the preferred profile for a Biotech specialist, they should possess strong intellect and analytical acuity with the ability to define, conceptualise and sell the company’s integrated clinical solution portfolio. The individual should display strong hunting skills to engage and create new relationships, as well as broaden opportunities within existing client bases. The role requires collaboration across the organization and a sophisticated approach to relationship building, both internally and externally. An established network within relevant markets would be advantageous.
