The successful candidate will work across departments — including Sales, Projects, Design, Finance, and Operations — to ensure that technology effectively enables and supports the company's growth trajectory.The primary responsibility in the first 18 months will be to lead the selection and end-to-end implementation of a new company-wide ERP system, driving digital transformation, improving business processes, and enabling scalable operations.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesERP Implementation & Digital TransformationLead the full ERP implementation lifecycle — from requirements gathering and vendor selection through to deployment, integration, user training, and ongoing support.Define project timelines, resource plans, milestones, and manage progress to ensure delivery on time and within budget.Collaborate across departments to map and improve business processes within the ERP framework.Drive user adoption and change management to ensure smooth transition and sustained value from the ERP system.Identify other digital tools and platforms that can streamline operations and scale with business needs.IT Strategy & Business AlignmentDefine and implement an IT roadmap that supports commercial, operational, and field-based teams.Align IT initiatives with business objectives, departmental priorities, and growth plans.Advise senior leadership on technology trends, risks, and innovation opportunities.Vendor & MSP ManagementManage the relationship with the Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring service levels are met and issues are escalated and resolved effectively.Oversee third-party software and technology vendors.Lead procurement and license management for hardware, software, and telecoms assets.Infrastructure & Systems OversightEnsure reliability and performance of core infrastructure — including network, cloud platforms, file storage, and mobile access.Oversee integration between the ERP and other business-critical systemsSupport mobile workforce enablement through secure and efficient connectivity.Cybersecurity & ComplianceOwn and maintain IT security policies and promote cyber awareness throughout the business.Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO (if applicable), and client-specific data-handling requirements.Oversee backup strategies, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery capabilities.Person SpecificationQualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science or a related fieldITIL, PRINCE2, or other relevant IT service/project management certificationsFull clean driver's license and willingness to travel nationally/internationally as requiredMust be eligible to work in the Republic of IrelandExperience, Skills & KnowledgeMinimum 5 years in a senior IT role, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or a project-based environmentDemonstrable experience managing full ERP implementation projects (vendor selection to go-live)Experience managing outsourced IT providers and vendor contractsExperience supporting hybrid or multi-site organisationsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, and remote access toolsProven ability to deliver IT and digital transformation projects on time and within budgetStrong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data protection complianceExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the businessStrong decision-making and analytical capabilitiesHighly motivated and self-driven, with strong planning and organisational skillsWhat We OfferA strategic leadership role with autonomy to shape the IT function in a fast-growing businessThe opportunity to lead a business-critical ERP implementation and broader digital transformationCompetitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualificationsClose collaboration with senior leadership to influence and execute key tech initiativesDynamic and supportive working environmentHealth and life assurance coverageCompany-supported pension planComprehensive employee wellbeing programRegular company eventsOn-site parkingJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €70,000.00-€90,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsCompany pensionEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Dublin 12, CO.
