Oz Oxford Global Resources invites an experienced Project Engineer to join our life sciences manufacturing team in Cork, Ireland. We are looking for a professional with strong automation expertise who can deliver advanced technical and engineering support for upcoming projects in our manufacturing division.
Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver key project tasks assigned.
* Collaborate with automation vendors, engineering, and other functions to deliver project tasks.
* Interface with cross‑functional team members and vendors, demonstrating good teamwork to achieve project milestones.
* Review and support vendor documentation such as FDS, SDS, electrical/pneumatic drawings, training material, and commission reports.
* Generate, review, and approve project validation documentation (URS, PFMEA, FAT, SAT, VP, IQ, OQ, PQ, reports, procedures) in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
* Provide technical guidance in machine hardware/software design, functionality, and guidance to vendors and the project team.
* Attend and execute automation system pre‑FAT and FAT execution at vendor stations.
* Execute validation qualification test protocols and associated documents.
* Support debugging of automated systems, applying structured problem‑solving techniques and providing feedback to the project team and vendors.
* Support the installation of the automation system at the site in readiness for qualification.
* Observe Quality Management System requirements on site at all times.
* Enforce Environment Health and Safety (EHS) requirements on site.
Requirements
* Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 2‑4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Software knowledge is beneficial.
* Self‑starter with efficient work methods, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
* Enjoys working in a dynamic, results‑oriented project team environment.
* Innovative thinker who can envision new and better ways of doing things.
* Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work as part of a multi‑disciplined team in an aggressive, dynamic and results‑motivated environment.

* Experience in an FDA‑regulated or regulated industry is beneficial.
