Working in close partnership with lines of business, functional and risk partners, and the broader Banking & International Control organization, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, delivery and coordination of in-business risk best practice in this new and rapidly evolving area. The role will report into the Head of In-business ESG Risk for Banking & International and to local Head of Europe ESG Strategy.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and assess ESG risks drivers, emerging risks and regulations applicable to Citi’s businesses.Develop sector/portfolio-based methodologies to identify and quantify ESG risks.Establish framework to assess ESG risk drivers and support the ESG risk identification, business environment scanning and materiality assessment performed as part of wider risk management initiatives.Establish and documents processes to integrate ESG risk management capabilities in existing governance and risk management processes and controls.Collaborate with other stakeholders to support wider ESG regulatory requirements.Lead 1LOD ESG risk workstreams as required to ensure delivery of capabilities and on-going governance.Support the Europe ESG Strategy Head as required on other ESG initiatives for the Europe cluster.Development ValueThis role provides a unique opportunity to be part of building Citi’s capabilities in an exciting and rapidly evolving area.
