Clogrennane Lime LTDVACANCYKiln Operator CarlowApplications are invited for the position of Kiln Operator in Clogrennane Lime Ltd. The person appointed will report to the respective Location Managers at Ennis and Carlow and will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of the Kilns at both sites.The role will be to operate, supervise plant performance and production with an ability to troubleshoot with a high degree of initiative as well as meeting performance targets. Applicants should have a proven track record and be able to work on their own as well as part of a team.The candidate will have the following specific responsibilities:Operating Kiln in Carlow and Ennis remotely with a high degree of emphasis on Health & Safety.Ensure the smooth operation of the Kiln production process & associated plants.Operate the plants to the relevant elements of H&S as well as environmental standards.Identify and manage quality issues as part of daily routine testing.Manage & maintain production to conform to Environmental and Quality standards.Work as part of a split day/night shift pattern.Liaise and report to the relevant Location Manager or Supervisor any issues at the relevant plants.Routine maintenance and housekeeping.Record and report plant metrics as part of ISO9001 & 50001 Management System.Candidates should ideally possess:Be a team player with an ability to work on own initiative.Strong knowledge of all company products and SCADA control systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail orientated with a proven ability to follow precise procedures.Strong organisational and administrative skills.Functional knowledge of company IT programmes.Experience in the lime/cement manufacturing industry.Ability to show initiative.Ability to contribute to the overall production team.Job Type: Full-timePay: €24.67-€30.83 per hourExpected hours: 45 per weekBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionSick payAbility to commute/relocate:Co Carlow, CO.
