CHEF (Ad Hoc - Relief Cover Only)Qualifications & Experience· Formal Training in catering: City & Guilds 7061/2 or equivalent.· At Least two years' experience of cooking and working within a fast-paced catering environment.Profile· Ability to work on own initiative.· Pro-active person who is responsive to the needs of the residents.· Proven capability to operate a catering facility within established standards of safety, hygiene.· An understanding and willingness to work within the ethos and lifestyle of the Oblate Community.Duties:The Chef will be expected to carry out the following areas of work:Operating the Kitchen, catering and dining facility.Providing a high-class catering service for 20-30 people daily, including weekends and Bank Holidays. The numbers to be catered for may vary from time to time.Preparation & Service of freshly prepared food to a high standard to the satisfaction of the residents having due regard to the special dietary needs and requests of the residents.Compliance with food hygiene standards EHO.QA and HACCP standards and overseeing the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen, dining-room and pantry.Maintenance of equipment to the required standards of cleanliness and serviceability.To ensure that all Health & Safety Regulations are observed.To implement the policies of the management.To carry out other relevant duties assigned by Senior Chef and Management.Job Type: Specified-purposePay: €18.00-€21.00 per hourBenefits:On-site parkingExperience:Chef: 2 years (required)Language:English (required)Work Location: In person
