We are now recruiting an experienced Engineer to join our team on an exciting project based in Cluny, Co. Sligo where you will be utilising MMC, modern methods of construction, in a fully onsite role.
Responsibilities
* Setting Out & Surveying: Using equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS) to survey the site and accurately mark out structural points, roads, levels, drainage and boundaries.
* Technical Support & Advice: Providing technical guidance to workers and subcontractors, reviewing design drawings, and ensuring specifications are met.
* Quality & Safety Control: Monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations (H&S) and quality standards (QA)- reviewing RAMS.
* Planning & Scheduling: Creating work schedules, two week lookaheads, coordinating subcontractors, and organizing materials to ensure project milestones are met.
* Reporting & Documentation: Preparing daily/weekly site reports, maintaining records, and managing material reconciliation.
* Problem Solving: Resolving unexpected technical issues or design discrepancies on-site.
Experience
* Previous experience in a similar, site-based role.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or construction-related field.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and surveying instruments.
* Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
* Full, clean driver's license.
