Are you an experienced, dynamic senior HR Business Partner seeking a new challenge? Our client, a high profile major employer in the state services/not-for-profit sector, has engaged CPL to recruit a talented, energetic & ambitious Senior HR Business Partner to join their leadership team and head up their HR function in the Tipperary region.
The Role
As a key part of the national HR leadership team reporting to the Director of HR, the successful candidate will cover a broad but high-level remit across the HR function, including a mix of hands-on and strategic duties. Responsibilities include designing and implementing strategic-level HR projects across the region, planning HR change initiatives, overseeing recruitment and workforce planning, developing internal talent pathways, coordinating training and L&D programmes, aligning compensation and benefits packages, and ensuring compliance with HR best practices in the sector.
As part of this leadership role you will also manage the ER & IR function for the region, handling complex ER/IR issues, building constructive relationships with union partners, advising on negotiated agreements, providing guidance to your HR team, and promoting employee wellbeing across the region.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Minimum 3rd level degree qualified in HR, business studies or a related discipline. Further relevant qualifications would be an advantage.
4+ years’ experience in a senior-level HR BP or HR Manager role.
Experience in the state services/not-for-profit sectors is advantageous but not essential.
High level ER & IR knowledge and experience, including union engagement.
Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal and coaching skills.
Proven ability to work on your own initiative and deliver on HR projects.
The Offer
Salary will depend on candidate skills and experience, with an approximate range of 85-100k and an excellent benefits package overall. This role will be a hybrid mix of 3 days office-based with 2 days working from home/remote; initial weeks training/onboarding will be office-based.
