Autism Initiatives Ireland CLG has provided specialist autism services for adults across Residential, Respite, Day, and Community Support Services since 2005. Our vision is that through supportive action people with autism can learn, develop and have ownership over their own lives. We aim to work alongside autistic people, their families and carers to provide specialist, individually tailored services for all to thrive. We have expanded our services across Dublin, Kildare, Wexford and Wicklow and continue to seek opportunities to offer assistance and value. Our recruitment focuses on individuals willing to go the extra mile to help people live independently, enjoy a better quality of life, and participate more actively in their communities. The successful candidate will receive all necessary training and a detailed induction before joining the service.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Business/Management or Economics) is essential (or a relevant qualification outside the state recognised by NARIC equivalent to Irish level 8).
· Full membership with a recognised professional body (i.e. CAI, ACCA, CIMA etc.).
Skills/Abilities required of a Finance Manager
* Minimum five years post qualification experience managing a Finance Department or Team.
* Experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Preparation of annual statutory accounts to the level required by external auditors and statutory bodies.
* Experience of managing payroll for 200+ staff.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise key projects.
* Ability to engage with key stakeholders and provide necessary guidance.
* Ability to lead a team and maintain a cohesive working environment.
* Strong technical accounting skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to spot trends and anomalies in financial data.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Proven management skills with ability to manage resources.
* Proactive individual that identifies, resolves or escalates issues as required.
* Flexible individual with an awareness of change and an ability to adapt with changing circumstances.
Schedule
The successful candidate will be based in Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow but will be required to travel to our services across Leinster as required as part of the role.
