The ASI is currently recruiting a Care Worker who will work in our Wexford Home Care Service, with offices based in Unit 2, Main Street, Riverchapel, Gorey, Co Wexford Y25 W8K3.
The successful candidate will work in assigned family homes in Enniscorthy, Wexford and surrounding areas.
This is a permanent contract working 16 hours per week.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing person centred care to people with dementia in the client's own home.
You will need good communication and organizational skills and be able to work on your own initiative.
To be successful in this position it is essential you possess previous experience of undertaking social and cognitive stimulation activities with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities.
Full clean driving license and access to a car essential.
A FETAC level 5 is desirable.
Confidence in using IT/Email is also desirable.
We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with the care sector, and dependent on relevant experience.
