Clinical Specialist Radiographer - Fluoroscopy
Reporting to the Radiography Services Managers (RSMs) or designate, the Fluoroscopy Clinical Specialist Radiographer will perform a pivotal role in service planning, co‑ordinating, managing activity, and allocating resources within the fluoroscopy department. The post holder will be an active member of the multi‑disciplinary team and will lead and supervise radiographic and other staff in the fluoroscopy suite, resulting in the delivery of an efficient, effective, and quality fluoroscopy service. They will work collaboratively within the multi‑disciplinary team, liaising with medical, nursing, and administrative colleagues to ensure safe and co‑ordinated delivery of patient‑centred care. The role is responsible for the provision of radiation protection within the fluoroscopy suite, reducing the risks of any adverse radiation effects in compliance with local policies, national legislation, and international regulations. They will primarily ensure that imaging in fluoroscopy is performed to a high standard of technical quality in a caring and efficient manner and in line with established guidelines and operating procedures.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Radiography for Diagnostic Radiography or possession of the Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent.
Registered on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU.
Must maintain live annual registration on the relevant division of the Radiographers Register once initial registration is secured.
