Job Description:
Third Party Risk Senior Manager required as a Day Rate Contractor - 12 month contract.
My client, who specialises in international corporate lending, treasury management, and capital markets, is seeking a TPRM professional to support its regional lead in Dublin. This first-line-of-defence role focuses on managing risks related to third-party vendors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across Europe. To be considered, you must have experience with CBI & EBA guidelines on cross-industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of TPRM activities across change initiatives, enhancements, and day-to-day operations
* Participate in TPRM working groups and provide progress updates on assigned tasks
* Collaborate with risk, compliance, and global teams to align processes and ensure policy compliance
* Work with business stakeholders (e.g., IT, HR, Legal) to implement TPRM processes throughout the contract lifecycle
* Assist with regulatory exams, audits, and compliance reviews
* Help contract owners meet their responsibilities in onboarding, managing, and offboarding vendors
* Promote risk awareness and align with risk appetite and values
* Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and client-focused work environment
Role Scope:
* Covers business areas such as Capital Markets, Corporate & Investment Banking, Business Payments, and Treasury
* Supports teams in Ireland and the UK (approx. 460 staff in total)
* Operates in a complex regulatory environment (e.g., CBI, PRA, MiFID II, DORA) - experience of these at a high level is essential for this role
What You’ll Need:
* Experience in third-party risk, compliance, or operational risk in financial services
* Strong knowledge of European regulations (CBI, PRA, EBA, DORA)
* Understanding of internal controls and risk frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of IBM OpenPages is a plus
* Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
