About Your New Job
This Site Manager (Client Side) role offers an excellent opportunity to work on major residential and regeneration projects across Ireland. Reporting to a senior construction lead, you will be embedded within a multidisciplinary development team and will have primary responsibility for overseeing on‑site delivery during the construction phase, while also contributing input at earlier stages including planning, design and pre‑construction.
The role will suit an experienced site professional who is technically strong, highly organised and comfortable representing the client on site, ensuring that contractors deliver projects safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the client’s on‑site representative during the construction phase of residential developments
Oversee day‑to‑day site activities and monitor contractor performance against programme, quality and safety targets
Support development colleagues during planning, detailed design and pre‑construction stages
Coordinate and manage design teams from a site delivery, technical and programme perspective
Liaise with main contractors, consultants, local authorities, utilities and other key stakeholders
Monitor construction programmes, milestones and delivery schedules
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
Oversee compliance with planning permissions, statutory approvals and building regulations
Monitor works for compliance with contract requirements and best practice standards
Support cost control, value engineering and efficient site delivery solutions
Report regularly on site progress, risks, programme and quality to senior project stakeholders
Assist with inspections, snagging, testing and commissioning through to project completion and handover
What You Will Need
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager or similar site‑based delivery role
A recognised third‑level qualification in construction, engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent trade background with strong experience)
Strong technical construction knowledge with a hands‑on approach to site delivery
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong understanding of Irish building regulations, planning conditions and construction standards
Experience working on public or client‑side projects (advantageous)
Familiarity with public procurement and contract administration (advantageous)
