**About the Role:**
As a Factory Operations Director, you will lead the day-to-day running of our factory operations, driving digital transformation and innovation across our manufacturing systems.
**Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of all onsite production operations to ensure output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets.
* Leadership of daily CNC operations, scheduling, throughput, and resource planning.
* Identification of opportunities to integrate robotics and automation into CNC workflows and oversight of commissioning, programming, and optimization of robotic and automated systems.
* Ensuring data-driven decision making through CNC monitoring, AI/analytics, and connected systems.
* Research and implementation of ERP systems, driving continuous improvement and advancing Lean production systems with a focus on metrics, KPIs, and data.
* Line management and mentorship of staff, overseeing recruitment, training, and development building a positive workplace culture that reflects our values of teamwork, craftsmanship, and innovation.
* Management of raw material, work-in-progress, and finished product stock levels.
* Logistics: ensuring warehousing and dispatch systems run efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively.
* Collaboration with engineering and R&D in identifying and implementing new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Experience:
A proven track record in manufacturing/operations management, ideally within CNC or high-tech manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with CNC machining and programming (SolidWorks or similar).
Knowledge and experience of robotics integration.
Experience implementing and improving Lean/continuous improvement systems.
Third-level qualification in engineering, operations management, business management, manufacturing technology or similar preferred.
Fluent verbal and written English.
