Role Overview
We are seeking a
Technical Business Analyst
who can operate confidently between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. This role is critical in translating business needs into clear, structured technical requirements, ensuring solutions are well-designed, feasible, and aligned to business outcomes.

exceptional communication skills
, working closely with product owners, developers, architects, and non-technical stakeholders to drive successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
* Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements through workshops, interviews, and process reviews
* Act as a trusted intermediary between business users and technical teams
* Translate complex business needs into clear, structured functional and non-functional requirements
* Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process maps
* Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
Technical Analysis & Solution Design
* Collaborate with architects and developers to define solution designs and technical approaches
* Analyse system integrations, data flows, APIs, and interfaces
* Support data modelling, data migration, and data quality initiatives
* Contribute to system configuration, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria
* Validate technical solutions against business requirements
Delivery & Change Support
* Support Agile and/or Waterfall delivery teams throughout the full project lifecycle
* Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews
* Support testing activities including system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Assist with deployment planning, training materials, and user adoption activities
* Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and communicate them effectively
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a
Technical Business Analyst
or
Senior Business Analyst
in technology-driven projects
* Strong technical understanding of:
* System architectures
* APIs and integrations
* Data models and data flows
* Cloud platforms and enterprise applications (e.g. CRM, ERP, SaaS platforms)
* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engage confidently with developers and architects
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and/or Waterfall environments
* High attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Dynamics 365, Salesforce, NetSuite)
* SQL or data querying experience
* Experience with data migration and integration projects
* Knowledge of business process modelling techniques (BPMN, UML)
* Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence)
* Understanding of data protection and privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR)
* Relevant certifications (BCS, IIBA, Agile BA, Scrum)
