We are currently seeking experienced and talented Plant Operators to join our high performing team. Plant Operators are responsible for checking, preparing and operating several construction plant machines. Typically, this involves using the four common types of construction plant, including 360-degree excavator, dumper/dump truck, forklift, and ride-on roller. We're interested in hearing from individuals who are certified Plant Operators on one or more pieces of plant equipment.REPORTING TO: Site ManagerLOCATION: Louth Village CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed Term HOURS: Monday – Friday, approximately 42.5 hours per weekRole ResponsibilitiesDriving / operating the relevant plant machinery.Working closely with other site colleagues such as signallers to ensure all tasks are executed to the highest quality and safety standards.Taking responsibility for managing and inspecting plant daily and informing the relevant supervisor of any faults.Maintaining clean, safe and working equipment, trouble shooting and problem solving as necessary.Following instructions from site management, in line with all H&S legislation and company policies and procedures.Assisting colleagues with ad-hoc duties on-site to ensure all works are completed.Working as part of the site team to ensure all projects are delivered on-time and in budget.Taking any advice and instruction from the SHEQ department representatives on-site.Taking part in regular Toolbox talks as required, taking heed of H&S best practice.Attending training as and when required to ensure that all certs and passes remain in-date.The CandidateQualifications & Experience:Extensive previous Excavator Previous plant experience on Residential projects Relevant plant cards for either 360 excavator, dumper/dump truck, forklift, and ride on roller.Manual Handling certificate.Full driving licence.To apply for this role, please visit to find out more and share your CV with us today.Cunningham Contracts Group is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons.
