A leading professional services firm is seeking to appoint an ambitious, high-achieving Senior Manager to join its progressive and forward-thinking Audit Department. You will play a key leadership role in driving business transformation and shaping the future direction of the audit function.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a large and diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, including Finance Directors and CFOs
Oversee international reporting processes, liaising with Group and Component Auditors
Lead the planning, execution, and completion of complex audit engagements
Provide high-level technical auditing and accounting guidance to both clients and internal teams
Drive client relationship management and proactively manage expectations
Oversee resource planning, ensuring effective allocation of staff across engagements
Report directly to Partners on engagements and contribute to strategic decisions
Take ownership of financial performance, including fee negotiation, billing, and cash collection
Lead, coach, and mentor managers and junior team members, supporting their development and progression
Play a key role in business development, including leading pitches and proposals for new work
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
ACA or ACCA qualified with 5+ years’ PQE
Strong technical expertise in auditing and accounting standards, including ISAs, FRS 100-102, and IFRS
Proven leadership and people management experience at Manager/Senior Manager level
Strong commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business growth
Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex audit engagements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
Adaptable and comfortable operating in a changing and evolving environment
