Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Infrastructure Strategy Manager to lead the development and implementation of long-term infrastructure strategies across our aviation portfolio. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of airport and aviation infrastructure, ensuring alignment with regulatory, environmental, and commercial objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning:Support the development and management of the strategic direction and processes within the Infrastructure Department – promoting efficient and aligned connectivity.Ensure alignment to National Aviation Policy Regulatory and Legislative Requirements, daa policies and Strategies, Capital Investment Plans and MasterplansFocus the interface management and connection of strategic projects which span programmes, teams, other airport departments and/or delivered with external parties.Track CEO objectives and goals and report monthlyStakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with internal teams (planning, operations, finance, sustainability) and external stakeholders (regulators, airlines, government bodies) to align infrastructure plans with broader aviation and transport strategies.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.Build and develop relationships with teams within Infrastructure and the wider daa.Visionary Thinking and InnovationHave the ability to see the big picture and envision future possibilities and a supporting willingness to think outside the box to develop creative solutions.Consider complex problems into manageable parts to analyse data and undertake critical thinking and evaluation. This should be considered in a manner which presents pros and cons of potential impacts which also being flexible to adjust strategies and plans in response to changing circumstances.Visionary Thinking and Innovation Have the ability to see the big picture and supporting willingness to think outside the box to develop creative solutions.Consider complex problems into manageable parts to analyse data and undertake critical thinking and evaluation. This should be considered in a manner which presents pros and cons of potential impacts which also being flexible to adjust strategies and plans in response to changing circumstances.Project Planning and Management Support project ideation, concept, and feasibility.Work with and coordinate internal resources, technical teams and third parties/vendors/ external service partners to deliver strategic projects.Support the coordination of the project ensuring interfaces are considered and addressed at all stages of the project lifecycleEnsure weekly and monthly reports are completed
QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Planning, Strategy Officer Role in a large and complex organisation preferably in infrastructure projects.5+ years of experience in infrastructure or aviation consultancy.Understanding of operating in an aviation environment would be beneficial but not essentialPrevious history of working in a multidisciplinary teamExperience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across organisations including regulatory and statutory authorities with a focus on influencing the improvement of process and relationships.Required AttributesStrategic thinker with a proactive approachDetail orientated with strong organizational skillsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work environmentsCommitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
