The Opportunity
The Design Data Management team within ADI’s Engineering Enablement group is seeking a user-focused applications engineer to support our internal users. If you have a background in IC design flows and data management, and enthusiasm for working with a broad user base, this role might be for you. We are a globally distributed team supporting and building internal tooling & services using modern software development practices across private & public cloud infrastructure. We focus on doing it right because we support what we build.
Responsibilities
* Support and train users on product features
* Debug and troubleshoot technical issues with users and teams
* Provide technical support to design user-base
* Interact with users and teams to deliver solutions
* Collaborate with developers to incorporate user feedback for new features
* Evaluate and test new tool features
* Create technical articles, presentations, and training materials
Required Skills
* Experience with IC development flows and tools (Design, Layout, Test)
* Effective collaboration within a global team
* Ability to work independently on user issues
* Proficiency with Linux and Cadence design tools
* Familiarity with data management platforms (e.g., Perforce, Git, Subversion)
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
* Active role in development teams advocating for user needs
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering or similar
* 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience (preferred)
