Responsibilities Manage a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing the preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and tax filings in line with statutory and firm standards as a Senior Accountant.
Deliver high-quality accounting, compliance, and advisory services while maintaining strong client relationships and offering clear, insightful financial guidance.
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and companies, supporting wider compliance obligations and providing practical, solutions-focused advice.
Support junior colleagues through coaching and feedback, contributing to efficient internal processes and consistent service delivery expected of a Senior Accountant.
Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), ideally with experience operating at Senior Accountant level.
Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience within a professional practice environment.
Strong technical grounding in Irish GAAP with familiarity in FRS 102.
Solid understanding of Irish tax compliance for both individuals and companies.
Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working independently to deadlines.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Surf Accounts, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
