We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Logistics Manager to join our high performing team.
REPORTING TO: Project/Site Management
LOCATION: Lynch's Lane, Clondalkin
CONTRACT TYPE: Full-time, Permanent
HOURS: Monday – Friday
Role Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Site Logistics Plan in conjunction with the Project Manager.
Coordinate site compound layout, storage areas, welfare, and temporary facilities.
Ensure alignment with Traffic Management Plans and Local Authority requirements.
Plan sequencing of deliveries in line with construction programme.
Traffic & Delivery Management
Schedule and coordinate all site deliveries.
Control vehicle movements in line with the Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP).
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to avoid congestion or clashes.
Ensure safe segregation of plant, vehicles, pedestrians, and the public.
Coordinate banksmen and gate personnel.
Health & Safety Compliance
Work with the PSCS to enforce site access control procedures.
Monitor adherence to site induction requirements.
Ensure exclusion zones and pedestrian routes are maintained.
Support implementation of Safe Pass and CSCS verification processes.
Assist with incident response coordination relating to logistics.
Material & Storage Control
Coordinate material deliveries to prevent overstocking or damage.
Manage laydown areas and secure storage.
Implement just-in-time delivery strategies where space is constrained.
Maintain delivery logs and documentation records.
Waste & Environmental Management
Coordinate waste segregation and removal.
Monitor skip usage and collections.
Ensure compliance with Environmental Management Plan.
Control dust, noise, and nuisance impacts on surrounding residential areas.
Programme & Interface Coordination
Attend daily coordination meetings.
Identify logistical constraints that may impact programme.
Work closely with subcontractors to manage crane bookings, hoist usage, and shared access.
Escalate risks to Project Manager promptly.
The Candidate
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in construction logistics or site coordination.
Experience on residential or social housing schemes preferred.
Strong understanding of Irish construction safety regulations.
Knowledge of Dublin Local Authority traffic and environmental conditions.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple subcontractor interfaces.
Safe Pass (essential)
Manual Handling (essential)
CSCS / Traffic Management qualification (desirable)
IOSH / Safety qualification (advantageous)
