Job Title: Senior Employment Solicitor (5+ PQE)We are exclusively working with a long-established Commercial law firm who are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to lead and further develop the Employment Law practice. This is a senior role offering the opportunity to shape and grow the Employment department, supported by a dynamic and collaborative team.The firm has a strong and diverse client base, spanning multiple sectors, providing an excellent platform for continued growth and high-quality work.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Employment Law practice, working closely with an experienced and supportive teamAdvise employer and employee clients on all aspects of employment lawProvide guidance on statutory rights and entitlementsDraft and review contracts of employment, workplace policies, and codes of conductAdvise on termination of employment, redundancies, and disciplinary processesHandle matters relating to the transfer of employees, including TUPE-related issuesRepresent clients before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court, and the CourtsDeliver practical, commercial advice tailored to client needsContribute to the continued growth and development of the practiceBusiness DevelopmentActively contribute to business development initiativesBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsIdentify opportunities to expand the firm’s Employment Law offeringParticipate in networking events, seminars, and thought leadershipSkills & ExperienceQualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in Employment LawStrong technical expertise across contentious and non-contentious employment mattersExperience appearing before employment tribunals and courtsProven ability to manage client relationships and handle complex matters independentlyCommercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solvingInterest in and aptitude for business development
