OSS one of Ireland leading recruitment companies are looking for a payroll manager to join our team
Key Responsibilities:
* Full end-to-end payroll for ROI, including data collation, input, and reconciliation.
* Managing Revenue Payment Notifications (RPNs), payroll submissions/returns via ROS, and uploads to the General Ledger.
* Ensure payroll is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
* Review payroll policies, supporting system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
* Pension administration and reconciliations
* Payroll reporting and financial support including weekly / monthly / quarterly and annual reports. Assist with internal and external audit queries.
* Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders on payroll matters.
* Ensure the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations.
* Ensure all payroll processing, information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits related as such.
* Resolve issues relating to payroll production.
* Project work relating to Payroll Data
* Be the in-house payroll expert, answering queries and ensuring teams have the right documentation and guidance.
What you'll bring
* Excellent knowledge of Ireland payroll legislation
* Confidence with payroll systems, ROS submissions, BACS, Auto Enrolment and payroll journals
* Solid Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
* Organisational skills and attention to detail - you thrive when juggling multiple deadlines
* Clear, confident communicator who can work across internal and external stakeholders
* A sense of ownership: when you spot a problem, you help fix it
