We are looking for a CSA Supervisor/Superintendent to join our dynamic and innovative OTS team, working on a client site.
The CSA Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of construction activities on a portfolio of capital projects.
The role ensures that all CSA works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with GMP, EHS, and quality requirements.
Working as part of the Capital Projects team, the CSA Supervisor acts as a key interface between the client, engineering, construction managers, contractors, and quality teams to deliver compliant and right-first-time facilities.
Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all onsite CSA construction activities, including foundations, steelwork, concrete, finishes, cleanroom architectural elements, and external works Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules Monitor contractor performance and productivity, addressing issues proactively Enforce strict adherence to EHS requirements, site safety rules, and client safety standards Participate in toolbox talks, safety walks, and incident investigations as required Ensure construction activities comply with pharmaceutical GMP requirements and site quality standards Support implementation of the Quality Management System for CSA works Review and manage ITPs, method statements, risk assessments, and permits to work Coordinate and support inspections, snagging, and punch list closure Ensure accurate and timely completion of as-built records and construction documentation Coordinate CSA activities with MEP, process, utilities, and commissioning teams Highlight risks to schedule or constructability and implement mitigation plans Support short-interval planning and look-ahead scheduling Act as the primary site contact for CSA contractors Attend and contribute to daily coordination meetings and site progress meetings Interface effectively with Design, CQV, QA, and Operations teams Qualifications Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline 10+ years' experience supervising CSA works on large-scale industrial or pharmaceutical projects Proven experience working in regulated GMP environments (pharma, biotech, medical devices, life sciences) Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and schedules Solid working knowledge of EHS requirements on construction sites Experience delivering projects within a live pharmaceutical facility Familiarity with cleanroom construction and finishes Experience working for or alongside EPCM / PMC organisations Exposure to construction delivery aligned with CQV requirements Strong leadership and communication skills High attention to detail with a quality-first mindset Ability to manage multiple contractors and priorities simultaneously Proactive problem-solver with excellent site coordination skills Comfortable working in fast-paced, schedule-driven project environments #LI-AM2
