MEICA Project Engineer – Water & Wastewater Projects
We have an exciting opening for a MEICA Project Engineer to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This permanent role offers a strong mix of office-based coordination and on-site supervision, with responsibility for the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
* Manage project delivery from design through to commissioning and handover
* Develop design drawings, technical reports, and supporting calculations
* Interpret and apply client specifications and project requirements
* Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with technical and commercial standards
* Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and quality documentation
* Produce and update project programmes and monitor progress against schedule
* Support procurement of plant and materials and control documentation across all project stages
* Conduct site surveys and generate work packages for crews and contractors
* Supervise site activities and ensure adherence to HSA safety regulations
* Update construction drawings and compile O&M manuals
* Track project finances, variations, and maintain change order logs
Requirements:
* 5-10 years’ experience in a Mechanical/Electrical/MEICA Project Engineering role
* Strong background in water and wastewater treatment infrastructure
* Proficient in AutoCAD and technical drawing coordination
* Experience with plant design, installation, and commissioning
* Proven ability to manage subcontractors and ensure technical delivery
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
