We are seeking a driven EVP of Sales to lead our sales team, which includes Sales Executives, Enterprise Sales Executives, Managers, and Business Development Managers, targeting small, mid-market, and enterprise clients. The role involves coaching, performance management, and pipeline oversight, with a focus on driving ARR growth and fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and success.
The EVP will develop and implement a scalable, data-driven go-to-market strategy aimed at acquiring, growing, and retaining clients. Responsibilities include accelerating ARR growth, increasing market share, and strengthening our position as a trusted fintech partner. The role requires presence at our Kilkenny HQ at least 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
1. Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to exceed revenue targets.
2. Manage the full sales cycle across new business portfolios.
3. Develop strategies and playbooks to increase sales velocity, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.
4. Collaborate with marketing on pipeline generation and demand programs.
5. Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and CRM discipline (Salesforce).
6. Support complex deals and executive-level negotiations as a player-coach.
7. Work closely with Product, Client Onboarding, and Operations for seamless customer experiences.
8. Monitor performance metrics, drive improvements, and uphold a high-performance culture.
9. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and enabling the sales team as it scales.
10. Act as a trusted advisor and sponsor for top-tier accounts, managing negotiations and relationships.
Requirements
1. Experience in managing and coaching sales teams, with a proven track record in deal strategy and performance management.
2. Demonstrable success in negotiating and closing corporate deals.
3. Strong commercial awareness and opportunity development skills.
4. 5-8 years in B2B SaaS sales, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
5. Experience in selling fintech solutions across multiple verticals.
6. Extensive experience with new logo acquisition and expansion strategies.
7. Proficiency in Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and other RevTech tools.
8. Excellent communication skills, team orientation, growth mindset, and emotional intelligence.
9. Ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals.
10. Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and inform decisions.
