Every day, we help real businesses across Ireland access the finance they need to grow — and as we scale, our Credit function is at the heart of making smart, data-led decisions.The OpportunityWe're looking for a motivated recent graduate (finance, science, or related) to join our Credit Team. This is a training role designed to give you the foundation to grow into aCredit Analystwithin 24 months. You'll learn the full lending journey — from reviewing applications, to engaging with customers, to making data-driven decisions — all while contributing to a fintech that's shaping the future of SME finance in Ireland.What you'll do (your first 12 months)· Support the Credit and Operations teams with day-to-day lending processes and credit administration.· Learn to prepare and analyse Credit Packs to support lending decisions.· Engage with SME customers to understand their businesses and financial needs.· Liaise with frontline teams on application queries and issue resolution.· Contribute to collections and recovery processes, gaining exposure to real-world credit risk management.· Undertaking standalone projects involving in depth data analytics and contributing to wider team product and process development· Undertake further learning, both internally and externally, to gain a deeper understanding of the role, sector, and our customers.How you'll grow· 0–6 months: Hands-on training in credit administration, data analysis, and customer engagement.· 6–12 months: Take ownership of credit assessments, supported by senior colleagues.· 12–24 months: Progress towards Credit Analyst responsibilities — leading evaluations, making recommendations, influencing decisions and driving future department direction.What we're looking for· A recent graduate in finance, science, or similar.· Needs to have a good understanding and knowledge of Business financial statements.· Curious, analytical, and eager to learn by doing.· Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills (Excel skills are a significant plus).· Comfortable with technology and adapting to evolving systems.· Strong communication skills and a willingness to engage with customers and colleagues.· A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, small-team environment.What's in it for you· Competitive salary (~€30,000) and bonus scheme.· Pension programme, healthcare & wellbeing allowances.· Employee Share Ownership scheme.· Support to complete the Professional Diploma in SME Credit and/or progress towards becoming a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA)· Real responsibility from day one, with structured training and mentorship.· A clear career path into Credit Analysis in a growing fintech.· The chance to work on purpose-driven initiatives.Recruitment Process· Interview & practical assessment — we want to see how you think, not just what's on your CV.
