Property Acquisitions Officer, Housing First, DublinLocation: DublinContract: Multiple Full Time, Permanent contracts available The purpose of this role is to further the Housing Acquisition Programme of Focus Housing Association CLG by the identification and acquisition of new and second hand homes in the Dublin region.What you will do:Identify and acquire suitable homes for Focus Housing Association within the Dublin region.Apply for state funding to cover both acquisition and refurbishment costs.Liaise with the legal team on all aspects of property conveyancing.Oversee the execution of all legal and contract documentation in collaboration with the Team Administrator, Company Secretary, and authorised signatories.Work with building and quantity surveyors to determine required works to meet minimum rental standards.Project‑manage refurbishment programmes, including budgets, timelines, and securing necessary funding.Handover completed properties to the Property Team and manage any defect resolution.Manage all administration related to acquisitions, funding applications, and legal processes.Prepare scheme appraisals for Development Sub‑Committee and Board approval.Maintain and update the project tracker with accurate project data, progress reports, and management information.Represent the Development Team at stakeholder meetings.Ensure full adherence to Focus Ireland policies and procedures, collaborate with colleagues across the organisation, engage in regular supervision and required training, undertake additional duties as requested, and uphold all Health, Safety and Welfare responsibilities.What you will need:Third level qualification in a property related discipline.Previous experience in a similar roleProficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & PowerPointDemonstrable track-record of establishing/refining and managing best practice in PropertyDemonstrate a systematic and comprehensive approach toStrong, proven organisational skills and the ability to work accurately and effectively under Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on attention to detail.Ability to manage projects, gather and analyse information and prepare reports.Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.Maintain multiple relationships with consistency and a high degree of customer care.Own transport, travel required.
