The role will entail managing new and existing commercial accounts in conjunction with the Regional Director.Location & CompensationLocation: Dublin – Hybrid Remote roleSalary: Fixed salary up to €75000 plus additional bonus and incentive based payments and a strong and comprehensive benefits package.Hybrid role with a strong emphasis on client facing activities in the field.Primary ResponsibilitiesAccount management of a portfolio of existing clientsSales and new business activity managementSeek, quote and convert quotations for new commercial clientsMeet challenging income acquisition and referral targets setAssist in achieving the overall objectives of the Commercial Lines New Business TeamBuild a strong pipeline of prospective clients in an agreed timeframe and meet and exceed minimum conversion ratios and revenue targetsTake ownership of delivery of the highest level of customer service to all clients and prospective clientsWork with broking and compliance teams to ensure compliance levels are at the highest possible level and the quality of records meets required standardsProvide support and guidance to Account Executive(s) on clientsComply with all relevant compliance legislationManage aged debt and premium collectionComply with all Management Audit RequirementsThe right individual will possess the followingCore Skills:CIP qualification is a minimum standard required and ideally you will be ACII qualified or working towards this5 years commercial lines insurance industry experience is essentialProven account management skills and a track record of maintaining accounts and achieving renewals goals in a commercial insurance settingStrong new business development skills and a demonstrable track recording of growing revenues within the insurance industry over a number of yearsThe ability to deal with and convert larger more complex commercial risks into clientsStrong insurance product technical knowledge and understandingCompliant with the Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Code and Fitness & ProbitySoft Skills:Exceptional communication, presentation and client facing skillsA mix of strong account management skills allied to a passion for winning new businessA strong level of attention to detailTarget, goal and deadline orientatedStrong negotiation skills and the ability to understand customer needsFirst class stakeholder, client and relationship management skillsWho might be the right fit for this roleAn Account Manager or Director or other senior commercial lines insurance professional looking to join a rapidly growing organisation with a strong national presence and part of a global insurance organisationAn experienced and driven Account Executive, Manager or similar with significant commercial lines insurance industry experience and knowledge who is ready to make the step up to Account Director level and who wants increased responsibility.
