Job Opportunity: Senior Ecologist
As a key member of our ecology team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ecological consultancy services across various projects. You will provide specialist ecological advice, oversee site ecological surveys and fieldwork, and prepare and supervise the implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).
You will conduct Appropriate Assessments, Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs), Biodiversity Chapters for Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs), and other environmental reports. Your focus will be on quality control, accuracy, timelines, and continuous improvement.

We are seeking an experienced ecologist with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to join our team.
Requirements
* Degree in ecology or related discipline
* At least seven years' post-graduate experience in environmental consultancy
* Member of CIEEM, CIWEM, or comparable professional body
* Comprehensive knowledge of Irish wildlife and conservation legislation
* Strong technical report writing skills
* Proven experience in preparing and overseeing CEMPs
* Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills
