Roving Funding Coordinator
Oxfam Ireland is seeking a professional to support our teams in the Global North and South.
The Roving Funding Coordinator (RFC) plays a crucial role in the funding cycle, coordinating the development and submission of donor reports and project proposals. This requires expertise in contractual obligations and conditions outlined in donor guidelines.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
* A university degree in Management, Economics, Politics, or International Cooperation, or equivalent experience.
* Experience working with Institutional Donors, particularly DGINTPA/NEAR and/or Irish Aid.
* Proven ability to work with remote multicultural teams and local organizations.
* Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, practices, and impact reporting.
* Sound financial management skills, including budget development.
* Prior experience in institutional funding contracts and proposal writing.
* Ability to travel on short notice to hard-to-reach areas.
Fundraising Expertise
The RFC will provide critical support in fundraising efforts, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals and reports. This includes developing program budgets, managing finances, and maintaining relationships with donors.
Global Collaboration
The RFC will work closely with Oxfam's global teams, facilitating collaboration and information sharing across regions. Effective communication, cultural sensitivity, and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
