Reach Ability are currently recruiting for Full Time Social Care Workers for our Residential Houses in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.
Responsibilities
* To develop and implement a person‑centered plan through the implementation of personal outcomes for each client promoting self‑development, individuality and independence whilst ensuring that all policy and guidelines are adhered to
* Undertake the role and responsibilities or delegated responsibilities of the Team Leader in their absence
* Coordinate and ensure the support needs of the service users are met in their daily lives
Essential Requirements
* Relevant recognised Degree in Social Care /Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent qualifications
* CORU: Registered with the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU (evidence will be required) or
* Hold a CORU‑approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence will be required) or
* Eligible for registration with the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU (evidence will be required)
* 1 year of experience working with adults with an Intellectual Disability
* Full Clean Driving License
* Be currently eligible to work in Ireland
Remuneration
The successful candidate will be appointed on the Social Care Worker HSE Consolidated Payscales (Sept. 2008). €19.32 - €25.86 per hour depending on experience.
