About the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role:
Join our company as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Senior Authorised Person) to oversee planned maintenance, coordinate works with the maintenance planner and wider maintenance team. Be responsible for all HV related switching activities on site with a safety-first mindset.
This role includes managing direct reports who perform critical assets while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practice. You will work closely with the Operations Manager on operational planning while also looking for ways to help reduce operational costs for facilities, improve operational processes, and provide support to Shift Operations Technicians in their roles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical plant operations including rotating equipment ensuring 99.999% availability or above is maintained.
You must have experience coordinating/carrying out HV switching activities and good IT literacy skills. Previous experience of managing sub-contractors is essential along with qualifications such as Qualified Electrical Tradesperson (NFQ).
