Position Details
The HR Business Partner is a critical role within the Human Resources function. This professional will partner with the Site Leadership Team (SLT) to understand the business and translate this to HR agenda on site. The role is based at the Ireland - Sligo site.
Job Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) partners with site leadership to align HR strategy with business goals and drive HR initiatives on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Talent Acquisition
o Partner with People Managers & Leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
o Ensure active sourcing of candidates to fill specialised positions across functional areas.
o Drive the recruitment process from opening to close.
o Participate in the interview process, providing insights and recommendations for candidate selection.
* Employee Relations
o Act as primary point of contact for Sligo site employees and managers to address HR inquiries and resolve issues.
o Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations when necessary.
o Promote a positive work environment and culture, ensuring policy compliance.
* Performance Management
o Guide managers in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
o Assist in development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
o Analyse performance metrics and identify trends and areas for improvement.
o Develop retention strategies to reduce turnover and retain top talent.
* Training and Development
o Collaborate with Regional HR Manager & L&D Manager to identify training needs and coordinate delivery for the Sligo site.
o Support employee development through coaching, mentoring, and career planning.
o Evaluate training programs and recommend improvements.
* Compensation And Benefits
o Support the annual merit review process for the Sligo site.
o Advise management on policy interpretation and job evaluation.
* Compliance
o Stay updated on Irish employment law and HR best practices.
o Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures at the Sligo site to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within the pharmaceutical/manufacturing industry.
* Experience in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and training.
Skills and Competencies
* Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* High integrity and confidentiality.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
* Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment
The HRBP will work at a growing biopharma manufacturing facility with high levels of interaction with employees and management, both in-person and via virtual platforms.
