About this Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical professional to support our Finance team as an Accounts Assistant. This maternity cover contract will provide the successful candidate with a unique opportunity to develop their skills in financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
* Produce and analyse weekly KPI reports to highlight trends and performance metrics.
* Review performance data and collaborate with the Live Operations team to identify areas for improvement and implement efficient solutions.
* Assist with preparing and reconciling weekly cost accounts, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
* Manage purchase orders, maintaining accurate records and coordinating with suppliers effectively.
* Handle supplier queries professionally and efficiently, providing timely responses and resolutions.
* Support the finance team with additional reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement tasks, contributing to the overall success of the department.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Utilize strong numerical and analytical abilities, with attention to detail, to drive business insights and recommendations.
* Develop confident communication skills and build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Demonstrate high organisational skills, self-motivation, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Pursuing or have completed studies towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualifications is desirable.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt new technologies.
