About Us:
Surehaul is a family owned business setup in 1977. We operate 3 main dealer franchise workshops, Urlingford in Co Kilkenny, Slieverue in Waterford and Clonmel in Co Tipperary. We also operate a repair workshop in Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny. We sell Mercedes and Renault commercial vehicles. We sell both heavy trucks and vans. We also carry out trailer maintenance, primarily in our Ballyragget workshop.
We are excited to invite applications for the role of HGV/Van/Truck Mechanic to join our Urlingford team.
Job Summary:
Surehaul is currently recruiting Qualified or Part Qualified (3rd year onwards) HGV Mechanics for our Urlingford Workshop. The work will be primarily on Renault Trucks and Vans although we also work a lot on Mercedes Trucks and Vans all other makes and occasionally trailers. OEM training is available from Renault Trucks. We have main dealer OEM diagnostic machines for Renault & Mercedes vehicles. We also have a Jaltest multi brand diagnostic for non-franchise vehicles. We carry out all types of repairs from safety inspections & services to major engine overhauls. We also carry out a lot of diagnostic work.
What Are We Looking For?
* Have a passion for vehicle repair.
* Be able to work to high standards and be highly motivated to learn.
* Be able to work well as part of a team.
* Be fluent in English.
* Have basic computer diagnostic skills
* A full Car Driving Licence is essential.
* A truck driving licence is an advantage but not essential.
* Must have valid work authorization in Ireland and be available for an "In Person" interview.
Ideal candidate:
The ideal will have a good mechanical aptitude, have an interest in vehicles and engines. Be keen to learn new skills.
